Duzo Padel Spring League – Official Rules

1. League Structure

The league is split into:
• Mens Divisions: A to G (7 divisions total)
• Ladies Divisions: A to C (3 divisions total)
• Mixed Divisions: A to C (3 divisions total)

Each division is limited to 10 teams

A team consists of 2 players.

Fixtures must be scheduled directly between you and your opponents at an official league venue.

2. Match Format

• Matches are 90 minutes long, including warm-up.
• Standard format is best of 3 sets, with Golden Deuce played at deuce points
• If the score is 1 set all and there are 10 minutes or less remaining, a 10-point tie break will be played only if the set scores are equal at the time (e.g., 1-1 in sets and 2-2 in the third set).
• If one team is leading in the third set (e.g., 4-2) when there are 10 minutes left, play will continue until time runs out. The team in the lead at the end of 90 minutes will be declared the winner.
• If the scores are tied when the full 90 minutes expire (e.g., 1-1 in sets and 5-5 in the third set), a Golden Match Point will be played to determine the winner
• In the case of disputes or where matches end without a clear result due to time constraints, Duzo League Officials may determine an outcome based on score differences, momentum in the final set, or other relevant factors at their discretion.

3. Scoring & Results

• Win: 3 points
• Draw (if the match ends 1-1 and no time remains for the tiebreak): 1 point
• Loss: 0 points
• Forfeit: A 6-0, 6-0 win is awarded to the opposing team.
• Scores must be submitted by the winning team via the Padel League App.
• Opponents must verify the result in the app within 12 hours.
• Disputes must be reported to the league coordinator within 24 hours of the match.

4. Substitutions

Substitutes are allowed under the following condition:
• The combined level of the new pairing must not exceed the registered team’s original combined level.
• All substitutes must be confirmed by the league coordinator prior to the match.

5. Apparel & Conduct

• All matches must be played in official Duzo Padel league apparel.
• Any team not wearing league gear may forfeit the match.
• Good sportsmanship is expected from all players at all times.
• Repeated no-shows, abuse, or unsporting behaviour may result in point deductions, suspensions, or disqualification from the league.

6. Media & Consent

• By entering the league, players consent to the capturing and use of any images, videos, or match-related content by Duzo Padel for marketing and social media purposes.

7. Tiebreakers

If two or more teams are tied on points at the end of the round-robin stage, rankings will be determined in this order:

1. Head-to-head result
2. Set difference
3. Game difference
4. Coin toss (only if all other tiebreakers fail)

Golden Deuce will apply on all deuce points. The receiving team chooses which side receives the deciding point.
